What's it all about?
A little something about me . . .
Certification as a Montessori Teacher did not lead to a career in early childhood education, however, it did ensure that I would find Unity in 1987.  It was at a Unity church that provided space for a Montessori school that I completed my student teaching.  Clearly I was supposed to teach.  Clearly that was connected with Unity.  Back then I could have never imagined what the Universe was actually trying to tell me.  So, twenty years later, here I am, Lord.

Since 2002, I have worked for South Coast Hospice as a patient volunteer, working directly with dying patients, their families, and the team of medical professionals who provide their ?care.

In December 2000, my teenage daughter made her transition, and it was the affirmation of Truth, shared in my Goin’ Home workshops, that made that experience a time of profound spiritual growth.

My workshop, Goin’ Home, is available to all churches and spiritual communities.  This experience opens up the transition process to discussion and spiritual preparation.  It is my hope that we can begin to bring it out of the realm of whispered voices.

I have had excellent feedback from Unity members, as well as Presbyterians, Methodists, and others.   I am also available to do a very moving “Remembrance” Sunday service in conjunction with this workshop.

I am presently working to complete the Licensed Unity Teacher program while serving as a lay leader at Unity of Bandon where my experience includes Sunday and special services, music, volunteer coordination, adult education, workshops, social activities chair, and ministry assistance.

Outside of Unity activities, I occupy my time with music, writing, arts and crafts of all kinds, and a busy home schedule.

I live in the seaside town of Bandon, Oregon, with my husband and two teenage sons who think mom’s very odd.  I’ve been assured that is normal.
